first car, when I was 16, was a 1956, four-door Chevrolet Bel Air. Suffice to say, this was considerably earlier
than 1986, when these cartoons appeared in newspapers.
It was in mint condition, and I was so ashamed of it,
because as everyone knows the really cool cars were
coupes.
