 This
set of cartoons was drawn in September of 1999, when
Tropical Storm Floyd was threatening, of all places, New
York City. My editor called to tell me the United Media
offices were closing early, because of inclement
weather, and to ask, "Could you have the remainder of
your cartoons finished in, say, 30 minutes?" This
three-cartoon sequence is the result.
