All right, all you cat lovers out there. I'm pretty sure this is the first appearance of the cat Ludwig in "Arlo and Janis," Nov. 2, 1993. He was included in this strip without much thought and no fanfare. As you will see in the next strip, the humans aren't the only ones who have changed dramatically over the years.
