I know from personal observation that there're going to be a lot of flooded homes on the east side of St. Louis Bay, just east of the Louisiana/Mississippi state line. I have friends who live in that area who are just now recovering from Tropical Storm Isadore in 2002. You can see for yourself, its track across Louisiana was virtually identical to the likely track of Katrina, and Isadore's 55-mph winds shoved several feet of water into many low-lying houses.
